MFTBC er en integrert del av Daimler Truck Division innenfor Daimler AG, og har hovedkontor i Kawasaki, Japan. MFTBC utvikler, produserer og markedsfører en komplett produktlinje av lastebiler og busser, som selges i mer enn 150 land verden rundt.



For det europeiske markedet produseres lastebilen Fuso Canter ved fabrikken i Portugal og distribueres i all hovedsak gjennom Daimlers organisasjon. I Norge importeres Fuso Canter av Bertel O. Steen AS. Salg og service foretas i Norge av det de etablerte Mercedes-Benz lastebilforhandlerne.

The objective of the additional investment is to support growth and business expansion as the global commercial vehicle market continues its recovery from the economic crisis. MFTBC comprehensively realigned its operations over the past two years, and now focuses on growth and continuing efficiency as a more integral part of Daimler Trucks. As a result of the equity increase, Daimler’s stake in MFTBC has increased from 85 to 89.29 percent. Mitsubishi group companies now own 10.71% of MFTBC shares, and continue as strong business partners in Japan and international markets.



MFTBC is an integral part of the Daimler Truck Division of Daimler AG.
